Yeah, we've already long concluded that there is no such thing as a hemisphere motor internal. It is all a sales gimmick. Sure, they might be 'oval' shaped, but that's a far cry from 'hemispherical shaped'....it's two completely different shapes.
Hemi just sounds better then Oval
And there's nothing wrong with the 3.5 motor. I think it's a great motor. I had the SXT Magnum a few years back and I thought it was awesome.
The SE though? I'm inclined to think that to be underpowered.
Just goofing around yesterday on the way to work, I had a guy pull up next to me at a traffic light in a bronze colored SE. Nice looking color. The light turned green and he punched it, so I punched it and after I actually began to stop spinning and start moving then I flew by him so fast that the turbulence nearly blew his car off the road. That's where they get the term "blew his doors off"
I could have ran faster then that car, seriously. Very very pathetic. The car is just to big and heavy to be powered by an engine with that displacement.
In my opinion, of course. I don't mean to offend anyone by it. I think they sell it for price-point reasons only.
"If you want a Charger, but you're dead broke, don't go away disappointed....we made the SE just for you" I think is their advertisement.[/QUOTE]
