Have any of you heard of these or tried these in any type of application? Did you really see any type of improvement or are these just one of those "Look at these you can have gained HP/TQ with just a change of your plugs". Looks like a solid product just wondering if any of you have heard anything about these. Thanks....

All plugs are not created equal...but just how much of a difference does it really make in real world driving conditions?

I replaced my OEMs with OEMs! Oh the horror!!!

I replaced mine with the Champion Copper Plus plugs. $2 each X 16 = $32... OEMs. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Why spend the extra with no true gain.

Explaining the physics would take too much time and energy, way more energy than these plugs could generate.

Suffice to say that given the PCM monitors misfires, and given the flame-front after ignition travels at precisely the same velocity (based on octane level) no matter which plug you employ, as long as that spark event occurs and ignites the mixture...everything has done it job well. If not the PCM will tell you by way of a MIL.

Caveat: At the extremes of performance, there are things that can be done which can extract more from a sparkplug...but even at the levels of performance these GEN III engines (I was gong to say HEMI - but they are not really HEMI's) is achieving with add-ons they would not be measurable.

Hi guys. I am the CEO of Enerpulse, Inc. the maker of Pulstar pulse plugs. I see you doubt our claims and I would like very much to explain what is different about our product than spark plugs. I don't want to waste your time nor mine.

Pulstar’s capacitor energizes the spark much the way a camera flash energizes light. The visibly larger spark has a much higher power density that spark plugs and ignites fuel more precisely resulting in better combustion efficiency. It is sort of like putting a flash bulb in your engine.

The science behind Pulstar is well understood and measurable. Where all spark plugs have a peak power of about 50 watts, Pulstar has a peak power of more than 500 watts. When your ignition system calls for a spark it first charges Pulstar’s capacitor and then releases the accumulated power in a powerful spark, which can peak as high as a megawatt in 2 nanoseconds. The rest of the spark duration is the exactly the same as a spark plug.

And if you want to see how Pulstar works (the concept of power compression) just visit Sandia National Lab's Z Machine http://zpinch.sandia.gov/. Sandia assisted in the development of Pulstar.

That's probably enough for now. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have about our product. I will do my best to answer them.

Cheers
