I notice that my rear (for the backseat passengers) a/c vent doesnt blow much in the way of air...

Has anyone else noticed this issue? Is it supposed to be this way?

Not supposed to be but it does anyway, lol. I took mine to the dealer twice, nothing the first time, the second time I mentioned that I thought there was a TSB on it (I was fishing) and low and behold... Now it blows a little more warmer or cooler depending on the temp I set it at and a little bit harder, but it is still a very weak excuse for A/C.

i was just thinking about this also this past weekend. My a/c blows normaly but it isnt cool like the front a/c vents, its almost....warm or hot. Does any one have this problem?

If the back vents are not blowing cold air when the AC is on, there is a TSB for this. I do not have the link but it involves moving the ducts and some material added in the tunnel. This should have been addressed in the 07s as it was a problem in the 06's. Take it back in as my rear vents are strong, less than the front vents but the temps are the same

mine blows a lil lower than the other front ones. it is normal though

Where are you blowing front air? Max air flow will come when fronts are on vent only.

There vents in the rear seat area? j/k...

I have not been in the rear seat of this car yet and actually closed the vents the day I bought the car.. Actually the salesman closed them and I never opened them back up...

Until this past weekend.. My gf's dad wanted to ride in the Charger and so he was up front and she was in the right rear seat... Asked if the a/c was on and even she commented that the volume of air was kinda weak.. She is usually cold so if the a/c in the back was not good for her then I would hate to have 2 or 3 guys my size [6'4" - 350 or so]back there in the summer.. or spring here in Texas..

I sometimes travel with my dog in the back seat, so I was checking the air back there... Mine seemed to blow warm air with the a/c on, but I switched it to full "face level" on high fan, and then it started blowing stronger and with cool air. Then I switched it back to "face & floor" mix and it did better the rest of the trip.

The dog likes to lay on the seat with his nose against the center vent so he can sniff everything!

rears get the air from the vent setting... try shutting off the fronts to see of that forces more air to the back
