Well, boys and girls you better hang on to your wallets/ purses!
1. 6.1 Hemi block
2. prepped 426 ( 6.9L )
3. X block- Engine builders special ( 468ci / 7.6L )
4. 528 CI V8
5. 572 CI @ 650 HP w/ 660 TQ

One can only imagine the possibilities with these motors. I have abandoned my idea of building a stroked 392 when i mod out my car. I will now wait and see how much that 572 is gonna cost!

Damn, I was looking at the price of Mopar crate engines vs. Chevy crate engines....

Chevy is way cheaper.

A Chevy 572 runs about $14k as someone mentioned. The current Mopar 540 Hemi goes for roughly $28k, and the 528 Hemi runs like $18k. Unless Mopar can get their prices closer to Chevy these are just unaffordable to most of us.

I'm hoping that aluminum 468 block runs for like $5k, but given Mopar's pricing history I wouldn't be surprised if it's double that.

if i remembr right i saw the 5.7 and 6.1 aluminum block for sale at mopar performance i belive they retailed for 10k and where on sale for 6 or 7k just a bare block mind you . so a whole motor would for sure be up around 15k for sure.

The ZZ572 Chevy crate will be much cheaper because...it's a Chevy. Not knocking it because it has awesome hp/torque. Mopar is an expensive name and these engines will stick to that pattern sadly :(

In the catalog they say the 540 and 528 are for Pro stock drag specific cars. I guess a 540 Crate Hemi making 900+ HP might not be street legal.... :D
