Are 5.7 intake manifolds from 06-10 the same? Also is the intake manifold from a Charger or Magnum fit an 09 5.7 Challenger?

06-08 are the same.

09+ are different. The 09+ flow better than the older ones, I see no reason to put a Magnum intake on a 09 Challenger. They will not bolt right up without spacers/modification as the ports are different.

There are at least three different intake manifolds for the 09+ 5.7L as used in the Charger/Challenger, the truck and the Aspen. One has active, variable length runners, like the 3.5L...

Well trying to help a fellow Challenger friend that was told that her intake manifold was melted. So, I'm looking at it tomorrow to see what it really is. Then help her find a cheaper intake than brand new front the stealership

They can be found... the truck ones have the TB facing up, they are taller and won't fit in a car.

Melted intake? That's weird without some fire action.

Local auto salvage yard FTW... if they don't have, they can get one. Yellow pages under automotive parts, used/rebuilt

That's what I tried to tell her, she has a bad oil pressure sensor but they told her it was cause of a melted intake manifold. I've seen her engine before (no pun intended) and it looked just like mine. I have an 06 5.7.

My 10 has 5 year 100k mile powertrain, I think the 09's had better than that.... Intake manifold should be covered, I would think.

Melted? Then she has MUCH bigger issues :)
