Whatcha mean "not aligned"? There is only UP & DOWN adjustment on these cars, unless there's a hidden Horizontal adjust I haven't seen yet?

But UP & DOWN should take a.... (damn! been too long since I've done this!) Phillips or Torx bit (maybe a T-20?) and the adjustment hole for headlight has arrows and U & D.

If it's a horizontal adjustment, they either didn't get the assembly bolted in correctly...? Or, the sheetmetal the assembly bolts to is bent/warped?

Or, worse case, the reflector inside the light isn't "snapped" into place? Could also be the bulb itself not seated in the cavity correctly...?

 

Thank you for the reply. The passenger headlight beam is point too low or the driver headlight beam is pointed too high...or both. This sounds like something I should take to the dealer to resolve? :bigthumb:

 

This is a pretty detailed video. I used a brick wall in the neighborhood to adjust the lights on my wife's Chrysler 200 after I replaced the front bumper

 

Thanks, saw that video. My problem is I needed to know how to specifically get to and adjust it on my Charger's headlights. But I think I am going to let the dealer do it.

 

I realize this is an old thread but still a relevant subject. Bought my 300S new in 2020 - both headlamps (standard halogen projectors) were too high, with the passenger side being slightly higher. 300 went to the dealer this past week for its 3rd annual service - 'headlamp adjustment' was on the short 'laundry list'. Drove last night for the first time since the first service visit.

Driver's side appears to be correct, while the passenger side is obviously too low. Passenger side also appears to be too far toward the driver's side, but there is no horizontal adjustment from what I can tell, only vertical adjustment. Attempting to find the adjustment procedure.

It’s just a long Phillips Head screwdriver.
You’ll see a hole in the black plastic cover near the front of the engine bay, it has arrows with + and a -, + means up and - means down. Beneath that hole you should see something that looks like a little funnel. Your screwdriver goes through the hole and into the funnel, you should be able to figure it out from there.
