Sorry, their are some ford rims that will fit our cars. They are cobra rims that are close to our 5x115mm patern. I will see if I can find them again, a bunch of LX guys have run them

 

I have the Boss 338's that I think are a Ford pattern. I don't think they come in a 17x10 that would clear his Brembo's though.

 

Weld racing has a 17x10 forged wheel designed to fit our cars, It's on their website under the S71 series street/strip wheels.

 

I run the 17x9 cobra r wheels they fit fine no issues. They do have to have tbe centers opened up a little and I run a plastic hubsentric spacers

I've seen quite a few widened cobra wheels floating around

 

how about a 16x10, anyone running those ?? is that possible to do ? found a few sets of drag wheels on jegs with that size ....

 

not sure if those would clear the brembos since most 17s don't even fit

 

I'm partial to Enkei. I already found these and have considered them for some racing slicks:

They're not 5x115, but like many have already said, they run 5 on 4.5's with no problem.

With these wheels a wheel centric is needed to adapt the 73mm bore of the wheel to the 71.4mm hub on the charger.

 

so what are my choices for 18s. looking for a drag look and these will be used on the track and on the street, with a drag radial . they are still beneficial in the 1/4 am i right ??

 

17x10 is Bogart or Weld. Both are over $500 a rim. You can get Centerlines in 17x9 for $250 or so a rim. Corbra R repros are 17x9.5 and run about $100 a rim.

 

Okay so here is the final questions


if i remove the rear Brembos and downgrade to R/t brakes in the back. i will be able to bolt up a 17 inch wheel no problem?

if i get 17x9.5 wheel. whats the widest tire i can run on the rim.



now if i get 18s. will i be able to keep my brembos and be able to bolt the wheels right up?
