Ive wanted a scatpack for a while and I think my im going to order a 2023 model, assuming the orders open up anywhere from september to december, what do yall think the estimated wait time would be? Will the wait times be longer than the 2022's because 23 is the last year of the hemi? Another question i have is if dealerships mark up ordered cars, and if so how much? For example optioned to how i want it a 2022 would cost abt 61k, but if i went to a dealership and ordered one would they mark it up to like 70k or something? I'd be quite upset if for some reason the 2023 models are hard to order or if dealers mark them up an insane amount.

Several dealers wanted MSRP on an order and others declined to place orders using Employee Family or an Affiliate discount code, when shopping last year. Took awhile to find a loca manager that would do the order below MSRP.

Why wait for 2023? The MSRP and likely the transport costs will suffer price increases , with nil incentives.

I will cease to comment other than be careful. Hate to preach....but
A sp is honestly too much power for the street to use it. A Widebody is better equipped to control it, but still easily overpowers the 305s. This is coming from me who autocrosses pretty regularly over the last couple of years in my 86 Pickup with no control nannies with a mild built 318. I am not saying don't get the car, but it is not a good vehicle for a 17 year old to start life off with. Appreciation of what this car is, is of utmost importance. Your life and that of others is too. Lastly, don't try to impress your friends and keep the shenanigans and fast driving away from any nearby cars or residences. Keep it to the country roads where you can see far out ahead of you with no other traffic presence going either direction.

Best of luck in your decision on ordering, hope you get a sweet color.

Website is a mess just an FYI. Lots of errors. Read on forums here about it, quick search will tell you directly.

hemi orange may not be available for 2023. not 100% on that because idk how dodge is with these special appearance packages and if they do let them run for more than a year. they'll prob come out with other limited stuff for 2023 if that really is the last year for these V8s. really depends on you. ima be wrapping my car to a diff color and i liked the factory red interior so the appearance packages aren't important to me. so to me the hemi orange was an easy skip, but i will say that the orange stitching is dope af ngl

but damn, 17?? when i was 18 i drove a jaguar s-type and did all sorts of sh*t i shouldnt have been doing cause i was trying to show off to my friends. did exactly what neil2424 is talking about lol. 99% of the internet is gonna tell you to get a less powerful car because you have no little to no idea what you're dealing with, unless you've been driving high hp / torque cars since you got your drivers license.

i agree with Slidd as well... i think you and your dad should take a look at this thread before you think about looking for a dealership: Do you ever wonder what happened to your car once you...

I like the red interior on scatpack but the website won’t let me option a green one with red interior so I assume it’s not a thing that can be done

I ordered mine (spwb) on Feb. 1st and received 1st week in May. I managed to get the friends and family discount and everything went perfect. As a whole it takes 3 months. They'll have plenty of supply of parts less the chips. I would order late '22 personally.
