Replace both with OEM, plugs and coil packs. Aftermarket units are well known to not play well with Hemi engines.

Misfires does not necessarily mean coil packs, and coil packs don't usually all go bad at once. They also tend to last much longer than most folks expect them to. Hundreds of thousands of miles and the OEM coils will power a 1000whp engines.

I suspect there may be another issue. A code scanner will point you to the correct issue as opposed to just throwing parts at something that isn't broken.

 

I have 165k miles, so it's not so crazy they need to be replaced. Why not NGK or Ripp?

 

Then you don't have a coil issue.

 

What could the possibilities are?

 

Just let him buy it. I mean people buy new wheels when their current wheels work perfectly fine

 

do a scan and look for pending/history codes. Clear any codes stored in history, reset engine adaptives and see if it changes anything.
