Just a random thought, if you have your side windows tinted and pull out in front of a motorcycle or car and someone is killed can you be charged with vehicular manslaughter.

Same question different window. Same answer as Powerman gave.

And it doesn't even distinguish if the tint was smoked or clear on the front, side or rear. Most window tint laws are enacted in large part for officer safety.
Lol, I wasn’t trying to be a dick. It was a serious question. Maybe I should have worded it better. If you have the whole windshield tinted let’s say 28% and you were driving down a dark road at legal speeds and you hit a person crossing the street and that person died, could you be charged with a felony being that tinted windshields are illegal? 28% is the darkest you could do for the front side windows in Florida.

Well I’m speaking in regards to the whole windshield being tinted with a shade. If it’s just the AS1 then it’s should be a non issue.

Another question would be, same scenario as my previous post, except you rear end a car and cause significant damage. Can your insurance deny a claim if the police report notes you have illegal windshield tinting?
