How to watch movies while driving?

I know there is the lockpick C8 device, but I wondered if there was anything cheaper. I can only watch DVD's while in park, and I was hoping to play them while driving so my friends could watch while we road trip. I have a 2013 Charger RT.

The Lockpick C8 device works by modifying GPS and Speedo data sent to the stereo. It fools the stereo into thinking you're going 0 mph which allows DVD playback.

If you could figure out how to do this without the lockpick, you'll be good to go.

There has to be a way to bypass that configuration..

does it have a parking brake ground? most car stereos with dvd playback have a ground that your supposed to ground to the parking brake which would make the dvd on the stereo not play unless the car was in park and the parking brake was engaged but you can bypass that by hard wiring the parking brake ground with another ground. not sure what stereo your trying to bypass, but it can be done. ive done it before with an older 3 inch screen car stereo with dvd on it.

As mentioned before, you CAN watch DVDs and Nav input without the parking brake being on - you just have to be going zero MPH.

The stereo listens to NAV and/or speedo to determine if you're moving.

The Lockpick C8 intercepts this signal and tells the stereo 0mph. While the lockpick is active, your Nav system always will show '0mph' but time-to-destination and whatnot still works.

Oh, as for cheaper, they make the Lockpick C8r - which is a bit cheaper but doesn't have the video-in option for additional cameras.

Would this also allow you to input address data into the GPS? Currently it will not let you do this while driving. Not sure if it is triggered by MPH or being in Park.
