We're actually moving to NC, and already gonna be driving our truck. Tow dolly would be the least expensive route. I do have access to a hydraulic lift and any tools that would be required i believe at our base auto hobby shop.

 

Their are 3 T50 or t55 bolts with 18mm nuts, You also need to Loosen the 2 13mm carrier bearing bolts to pull drive shaft up out of the way. I think their was also a heat shield over the bearing don't remember

 

Why not just get a car trailer instead of the dolly?? When I moved from Lemoore to San diego I rented a truck and trailer from Uhaul as part of my dity move and put my Dakota on the trailer. No way in hell was I going to put my baby on a tow dolly.
