Hmmm. Interesting.I removed the old abs module, cleaned it from dirt (don't know how it got in there), and reinstalled it. Still showed the error. Yet, I don't remember doing the initialization after the install. Something to consider

Update..

I have successfully managed to
(1) replace the ABS module,
(2) performed initialization with an Autel scanner,
(3) retrofitted a single piece of the radar sensor brackets (for it was broken),
(4) and performed radar sensor alignment using an Autel scanner (without having to visit the shops for the cup alignment thingie), even though it showed the process failed after counting to 100%. My radar sensor is back to business.
I Have done myself proud.

This is to show you it can work without spending much money.

Also... Did you replace just the control module, the hydraulic module or both.
Dealer always changes both and is a $1000 repair.
I only replaced the module, not the cylinder hydrolic pump. You won't need to change that. Mine was a used part, purchased from eBay. Make sure the part number matches the one in your vehicle.

Thank you for the info Abdul. 1 additional quick question... Does the Autel require you to drive vehicle to do initializing or does it perform it sitting still. Seems can be either way apparently depending upon scanner used.

You don't have to be driving. Once you have replaced the module, turn the ignition ON, then perform initialization.
