Sad, cause i found full brake system for 1500$.
OR and hear me out. Maybe not Jerry rig something as important as the brakes and buy the correct parts?

HATE to bring up an old thread. Has ANYONE else experience rattling of the brakes over bumps? Jist replaced them from PFC pads which it started few yrs ago to Power Stop. The noise stopped for a bit and came back. I’m wondering if I need to bend the rattle clips a little to keep pressure on the pads. Or my caliber is bad because I’ve replaced guide pins like 3x because it always seems to be sticking on the top side of the driver side one. The rattling over bumps is annoying and frankly embarrassing and it’s been going on since installed the upgrade. :( I’m at my wits end.

Why not just make your own instead of filling this one up with unrelated stuff?

Never had my BR9's rattle.

Don't think I saw this mentioned before. I was shopping for pads and rotors recently and saw the Bosch police pads looked a lot like the PFC pads. Looking closer they looked like they have PFC stamped on the sides of them. Sure enough Bosch is reboxing the PFC pads and rock auto had them cheaper than buying the PFC pads directly.

Yes, those are PFC numbers and the price matches up too. You will enjoy the full rotor sweep too. Great pads. Price the rotors.

I hope the Krautmaster is still out there thriving. The last we heard he was overseas.

Do yourself a favor, find the bedding in procedure and follow it carefully.
