I have the blacktop package wheels (20x8) on my ‘17 RT and was wondering if they are forged or not. I noticed the replacement cost from Mopar is astronomical, something like $1300 for 1 wheel, and was wondering if it’s because they’re forged rather than cast.

Hellcat wheels are forged. 1320 wheels are forged, the Daytona and TA Challenger wheels that are 9.5 are forged.
The Standard Scat Pack wheels which are 9 inch wheel and everything under those are not forged.

All of them are expensive and some way more then others. I own both Forged and non forged wheels for my car.

Blacks are Forged and the Gray ones are not.

Very few OEM wheels for the LX/LC are forged. The first gen had the Alcoa SRT 20x9 which even had "forged" stamped on them!

The only 20x8 wheel that I think was forged was the polished classic wheel that you could get on Challengers and Chargers, all other 20x8 wheels are cast.

As others have said the 20x9.5 wheels were forged (Hellcat, Daytona 392 some years, SRT 392) and the WRT 20x9 wheels were also forged.

OEM wheels from any manufacturer are expensive usually over $800 they are also made to a lot better standards then aftermarket wheels. I love using OEM wheels for my winter set as I know they'll be durable.
