Anyone buy a Sunroof Wind Deflector

Hey Guys I just got a new 08 Charger with the Sunroof but when I drive down the highway with it open the wind is hitting me right in the face. I went on ebay and found a aftermarket system that is a 'clip on' system with no drilling or tape. That sounds good but I am afraid it will be low quality. Have any of you put one of these on your car and if so where did you get it and what do you think? Should I just go to the dealer and have them put one on it? I assume they have one for it.

Yes that is how I ride around with it now but it doesn't open up very much and I wanted it open all the way. I don't mind the wind coming in the car the problem is it hits me right in the face when I have my seat in my preferred driving position.

I too have noticed more wind with my sunroof, but have got used to it. The sunroof in my Neon opens over the roof, so I was used to no wind at all. Some say those wind deflectors hurt the looks of the car. I have not heard any serious negatives though. Try one out, its all about making your Charger all YOU want it to be. :)

Got to agree here...lots of wind. I'd love to know how the deflector works for you (or has for anyone else) as my son loves to have the sunroof open.

Just tape down the black strip that pops up when the sunroof is open. I believe that it deflects the wind over the roof of the car so as to not tear up the interior of the car.

Hell yeah you gotta put the seat all the way back and reclined a little bit when you are riding out! My wifes Accord came with a wind deflector on it and it works perfect and actually makes her little coupe look sporty but I don't know how it will look on the Charger. I just don't want to buy a cheap one online that comes with double sided tape or something like that I want to buy a good one.

I have been installing a very nice smoke heavy weight deflector for dealer customers. It is held on with stainless steel clips, and has a nice rubber seal between the deflector and the body of the car. Much nicer than the tape on ones for sure.

If anyone gets one, please post a picture. I've been thinking about this mod but I don't want to spoil the look of the car.
