was thinking of getting that neutral cover plate and debating on getting the dealership's "security" add on. they were offering it for $895 but i managed to bring it down to $595. apparently it comes with a killswitch as well, which is something i was considering cause it doesn't hurt to have. i'll be parking it inside a gated driveway at home and my work has a private lot with cameras, but if these scumbags can get through a gated community, i don't wanna risk anything. we all worked hard for these cars and these a**holes take them in minutes.

i got a pic of the dealership's optional security add-on. what do you guys think? i don't know much about it aside from this brochure though, i still gotta talk to my dealer to about it

The neutral plate only helps with the tow away steal. Use security screws to slow further. Probably a club to on the steering wheel in a public parking garage like that.

Is the dealer RF hub fix for the keyfob copy foolproof? Is the OBD port still vulnerable?

I believe the hub lockout makes it impossible to make a key without replacing the whole unit. I plan to have the dealer do this before I take delivery.

Yeah the RF extender trick. Keep your FOB in a faraday pouch. Saw some kids on a security cam footage walking down a street until they started a car with the extender (keyfob in the apartment). Stole the car in a minute and went on a joyride. Wasn’t a Charger and only a few miles away.

3hp valet was discontinued/recalled.

Your car does not come with RF module locked out. Dodge gives you the ability to pay for more sets of keys before you have dealer lock it down.

Deluxe Alarm system is standard. Motion sensor and g-force alarm.

Criminals can clone key fobs for any car with push button start so get a Faraday sleeve to store key fob in.

This looks like an overpriced Carlock alarm to me, you can get one off Amazon for $50 and with a monthly subscription it can do all the same things and more.

Ordered February 3 SPWB, Frostbite, Plus, Convenience, and HK.

I've been in BX for almost 80 days.

No VIN.

Co worker of mine in the same situation from Canada. He ordered beginning of the year, still in BX, we're just down the street from Brampton. He's being told late summer/possibly not even this year. Could be converted to a 2023 MY order

Bruh.. this is "old news". They are providing two of the three. The 3hp valet mode has security flaws so they recalled it.

No lies, they had issues with the new valet mode so they removed it from the deluxe alarm and recalled any cars that already had it installed.

Maybe they'll update the dash for MY23 to mimic the Durango and have the bigger screen - doubt it, but one can always hope.
