Is there any other northerners who plan on putting winter tires on their SRT8?

I need to do this but I'm not sure what my options are. I dont think they make 20" winter tires and if they do, I'm sure they are pricey.

Does anybody know the smallest rim size we can go with our bigger brakes?

I might have to pick up a cheap pair of alloys.

I went with Pirelli Scorps last winter in the 255/50/19 size and got 4 of the ASA 19" wheels at a killer price.

Try the 19" size on tire rack and you may get more luck.

I only paid $99.00 each for my ASA wheels as they were on a closeout.

However, since you already have a second set....yes....that would be a better idea for you.

a garage suggested that i put on 16 inch rims and 15inch studded winer tires. he said hes done it for 300 and magnum owners...will the work on the charger
There is no need to go smaller than 18" wheels and with most of these cars you can't anyway

There are plenty of great 18" snow tires

Look at the Toyos. They have crushed walnut shells mixed in the rubber compound. They are supposed to perform like studs. I was pretty impressed with the traction I had on ice last winter.

You just have to keep the squirrels away from your car. j/k:lol:
