Quick question, just wondering if the Brembo brakes off an SRT would fit on my R/T. Trying to upgrade my brakes. Thanks.

I would also like to know about this, I've searched around and I've only been able to find a few things about the first gens, not ours. I'm curious about the SRT suspension too.

Yes, they will fit, but its not just a simple bolt on replacement. In addition to the rotors and calipers, you'll need the SRT knuckles. Unless you can find SRT take-offs, new Brembo kits are quite expensive. A less expensive but still high quality alternative might be to go with a big brake kit from Baer or Wilwood. I put Baers on my 2013 R/T.

A 2012+ Charger SRT suspensions are adaptive and not appropriate to 2011+ R/Ts. There are many suspension upgrade kits available from Eibach, Mopar, Hotchkis, and others that will improve your handling.

I have a 14 R/T and I swapped in 13 SRT springs and Bilstien shocks. It bolted in with no issues. The only thing to keep in mind if you do this, if you have an 11+ Charger, you will need to use 11+ SRT suspension parts. Dodge changed the suspension pick-up points in 2011 and the earlier parts will not fit.

This is not entirely correct. The '13 SRT springs will work. However apparently you used conventional Bilstein shocks/struts. Let me repeat what I said in the previous post: the shocks/struts from an 2012+ SRT will not function as intended on an R/T. If you bought the SRT adaptives, you wasted a lot of money.

You can use the conventional struts/shocks from the 2011 SRT Challenger (there was no 2011 Charger SRT):

Bilstein/Mopar OEM 2011 SRT8 Rear Shock Absorbers (P/N: 5039356AF)
Bilstein/Mopar OEM 2011 SRT8 Left Front Strut (P/N: 5181350AG)
Bilstein/Mopar OEM 2011 SRT8 Right Front Strut (P/N: 5181349AG)

Correct I used those shocks with the 13 SRT springs. I did know that I couldn't use the adaptive shocks since my car didn't come with them to begin with...no money was wasted in my upgrade.

Sweet, thanks for the info. Yeah I was on CARID looking at brake kits and they are extremely expensive, like supercharger expensive for both front and back. Did you do the Baers front and back? I'm just doing some research for later, if/when a supercharger comes into play I would definitely want to add more stop if I add more go.

Thanks :beerchug:, so did you buy both the springs and shocks new? where from?

Yes. They are 14" rotors with six piston calipers (similar to the new Brembos on the 2015 Hellcat/SRT). The nice thing about the Baer's is that they fit on a stock R/T spindle - they are pretty much bolt-on.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I'm just going to wait and save up for a full brake kit from brembo in the future.

I have an R/T super trak pak. Will the SRT springs and shocks be an upgrade?

Will the springs lower the car any?

What sway bars are the SRT's running in comparison to the Super Trak Pak option on the R/T's?

Well, you'll be upgraded to the equivalent of a 2012-2014 Super Bee suspension (no adaptive suspension, however). You'll be a little lower, maybe .5-1.0."

The 2012 R/T w/STP had 30mm front bars and 20mm rear bars. The 2012 SRT and Super Bee both had 30mm front bars and 18mm rear bars. All were solid bars.

Mopar recently offered an aftermarket 22mm hollow rear bar.

Thanks for the info, one more question...
What does the adaptive suspension do on the 12+ SRT's?
