I was hopping someone could point me in right direction;

I want to put a small strip of flat back tape on the very
bottom of the rocker panels. If you step back and look
at the rocker panel, it has nice curves to the front and back
tires. I think if I blacken the panels to the height of the
jack cut-outs it will show off the shape better.

Any idea on what kind of trim tape to use?

Masking Tape and Newspaper,
Then any good quaility flat or satin black paint.
Clean the surface that your going to paint.
I looked at that the other day and thought it looked crappy (the cutouts), just hadn't devised a fix till you brought it up.
One more $5.00 mod !!
