But he lives in Hawaii, and there is always an extra shipping charge outside the continental states.TireRack.com is were I been getting my tires for years
hey 5-0, yeah man you missed a great/cheap set i had. another guy on the force picked them up. if you're looking for tires you might want to go check out Auto Customs in town. Go see jon or jeff and tell em you know me. number is 545-1658 and they are located in back of where eurosport used to be or by crazy mikes furniture and the sprint store i think. hopefully they can get you a deal.My stock RSAs are coming to the end of their life and I'm looking for someplace local for a new set of rubber. I was open to the idea of buying online and then shipping. A friend of mine pointed me toward www.tires-easy.com. The price was right for Nitto 420s but the shipping was going to be $350. I think I might be able to do better than that... hopefully... if I find the right place on the island.
I don't want RSAs again. I didn't like those tires at all. I am open to Kumho, Falken, Hankook, Nitto... basically any good performance tire. Anyone got a "connect" on the island they wouldn't mind sharing? :beerchug:
Ah, and Alpha... only NOW did I see that thread of you selling the Chally rims! Ah, man!!!... I would have chromed those! Oh well... my wife probably wouldn't have approved of me "throwing money away" anyway.![]()
I wouldn't run the 35 series for 20's, that just not enough tire. I regret getting the 35 and 30 series for my truck even though they were the recommended sizes.Artie....go to Ron's Performance in Kalihi....They carry the Falken 420 for our cars. I got about 5k on my Nitto 420"s. I love them. I wish they were a little quieter. But for the 40k-50k like worth it. great wet or dry and look damn cool.i was just at 808 revolution the other day looking for new wheels. went in with an idea of what i wanted and found out they stopped making the wheel i wanted staggered. went back and forth with the guy, ( O is his name) the more we talked the more he knew i had a clue. he even stopped trying to sell me the overstocked crap like toyo. i'm thinking about some nitto 420's or perellis. just waitting on the wheel avail.
