Where to buy tires on Oahu?
My stock RSAs are coming to the end of their life and I'm looking for someplace local for a new set of rubber. I was open to the idea of buying online and then shipping. A friend of mine pointed me toward www.tires-easy.com. The price was right for Nitto 420s but the shipping was going to be $350. I think I might be able to do better than that... hopefully... if I find the right place on the island.
I don't want RSAs again. I didn't like those tires at all. I am open to Kumho, Falken, Hankook, Nitto... basically any good performance tire. Anyone got a "connect" on the island they wouldn't mind sharing? :beerchug:
Ah, and Alpha... only NOW did I see that thread of you selling the Chally rims! Ah, man!!!... I would have chromed those! Oh well... my wife probably wouldn't have approved of me "throwing money away" anyway.

I'll check out Ron's. $800 for 4 tires including mount/balance... that's better than I've seen anywhere else.
Edit: I called Ron's. They have the tires I want (FK452) in stock and will balance and mount them for about $870. :bigthumb:

I'm getting 255/45/ZR20. I've only heard good things about Falkens and I'm excited to get a set. And I really can't wait to get out of these RSAs. I can't believe how expensive the RSAs are! www.tires-easy.com has them at $445 each? Puleez!!!
