Just wondering. Haven't seen many available. I'm assuming it has to do with the whole delay of hellcat orders but just wondering what people know.
Yeah, I really want to start seeing Scat Packs on dealer lots too, kinda keeping an eye out for those. I'm wondering that when those become more widely available if it will bring the price down on some of the left over 2014 SRTs which are still in the ridiculous price range. You can even still pick up some "new" 2013 SRTs that have been sitting on lots for two years for "only" 45k+ lol.Just wondering. Haven't seen many available. I just don't get it. These cars are 2015s, but we're already almost five months into the year and the are hardly any around. It seems like the only people that have them have ordered them. Scat packs too. When will everything be here???Yeah, I really want to start seeing Scat Packs on dealer lots too, kinda keeping an eye out for those. That's pretty much the standard up here in Canada. It seems like the only people that have them have ordered them.
I'm kind of hoping to find one in a few months that will be far under sticker, like you found your 2010, but since they aren't being put out I'm not sure that will happen. That's pretty much the standard up here in Canada.
With fuel and insurance being astronomical up here you rarely see an SRT on a dealer lot.
Hence why my 2010 sat on a dealer lot for 9 months before I picked it up brand new for $13k under sticker.
I've only seen a handful of the 2012-2014 SRTs rolling around in the last few years since the new body style came out.
So far I've only seen a handful of 2015 Chargers and all the V6 variety.
Hence why I expected a LOT MORE attention than I've been getting on my SRT 392.
That's what I am thinking...Maybe people just don't know what it is because there aren't enough around yet lol.
That's pretty much my plan as far as eventually getting an SRT, I like the 2014 version enough that I would get it before a 15 if the price was right but as of now they still want full MSRP or more on most of the ones I've seen online. I like the scat pack too but I have not seen any on dealer lots yet so I would want them to be around in bigger numbers so if/when I go in to a dealership they don't try and build up the sale as if I'm trying to order some super special edition/rare car lol. I have also only seen 15 V6s around, two white ones in my apartment complex lol. That's pretty much the standard up here in Canada.

That's really interesting. I mean I think the 2010 styling is classic for sure, but the new srt's are incredible in my opinion. The Jazz blue is a great color as well, and the car in general has really grown on me over the last few months. That's what I am thinking...
I get much more attention in my 2010 still than I do with the new one.
I understand that logic for sure. I'm tempted by the 15 though because of the 8 speed, the extra hp and torque, and that active exhaust. If you have to pay full price for either, I'd go for the 15.That's pretty much my plan as far as eventually getting an SRT, I like the 2014 version enough that I would get it before a 15 if the price was right but as of now they still want full MSRP or more on most of the ones I've seen online. What are you driving now baller? I do like the way the scat packs and above look, not as much a fan of the other models though. I love my 14 R/T but I definitely have the SRT/Scat Pack itch lol. I have a girlfriend and marriage is in the future so if I make a move it has to be before that so the lady cant say no lol. That's really interesting. There is no question it's a much more refined automobile than the 2010, and the Jazz Blue color is fantastic. That's really interesting. Haha that's hilarious man you are basically in the exact same situation as me. I have a 14rt as well, but I have the itch for something more. I also have a girlfriend and marriage in the next couple years. I've talked about it with her and she's reluctantly okay with it lol. What are you driving now baller? Absolutely. Glad you're enjoying it and I have to say I'm just a tad bit jealousThere is no question it's a much more refined automobile than the 2010, and the Jazz Blue color is fantastic.
I love it.
Yes I have the HK system and very disappointed.Do you have the Harmon kardon? If so how do you like it? Is it worth the money for it? Or would you be better off putting that money into an aftermarket system?
Awesome, thanks for the info on that. I was wondering about that as I've been looking through the different options. I watched a review on YouTube and they give you a small clip of the sound but it's hard to tell. Hopefully they'll come up with a fix for you.Yes I have the HK system and very disappointed.
I would suggest to anyone buying this car to save the 2 grand and get aftermarket components to upgrade.
I do believe there is supposed to be a fix though. Supposedly there is a wiring issue that will be corrected in 2016 and they are working on a firmware flash to correct the 2015 systems.
It sounds "OK" but it doesn't sound like an upgraded system. The Kicker system in my 2010 is much better.
Lol yeah I hear you :beerchug:.Haha that's hilarious man you are basically in the exact same situation as me. I have a 14rt as well, but I have the itch for something more. We have the HK in my wife's Jeep SRT. Now I'm no audiophile, but to me it sounds no better than the basic Alpine system she had in her Overland. The Beats system in my Charger sounds better to me.Do you have the Harmon kardon? If so how do you like it? Is it worth the money for it? Does the system in the jeep have any problems like flex was saying the new chargers have?We have the HK in my wife's Jeep SRT. Now I'm no audiophile, but to me it sounds no better than the basic Alpine system she had in her Overland. The Beats system in my Charger sounds better to me.
Its a 2014 so I'm not sure. There's certainly no hardware/wiring problem like there appears to be on the 2015s Chargers and there's been no discussion on the Jeep message boards of any kind of a "fix." The consensus seems to be that its not an outstanding audio system (more like an OK one) and its probably not worth the $1.9K premium. On the other hand, many Jeep owners seem to think its better than the base Alpine system. Most everybody agrees that SXM is really poor.Does the system in the jeep have any problems like flex was saying the new chargers have?
That's disappointing. You'd think that in a car or suv of that caliber with that kind of price tag that it would be better. Its a 2014 so I'm not sure.
