Since we have to wait and wait and wait, :fuming: I thought it might be interesting to hear what all the soon-to-be SRT-8 owners are thinking about when they first experience getting behind the wheel. Will you go for a long ride? Will you go show -off to your friends? Or will you bring it home, park it,set your ass in your favorite lawn chair and stare at it in total disbelief? I think I'll do all three! What would YOU do.

I thought a picture of my 98 Silver GTS, the 05 Red Ram SRT and the black Charger SRT all in my driveway would be a nice shot. Unfortunately it will probably be in November or December.

Great question!

Unfortunately, I am having a harder and harder time imagining that day with the status setback.

Will probably go for a fairly long cruise around town... just to see the reaction since it will probably be the very first one on the streets.

Then probably back home for a picture to post here. :grin:

Then a night out on the town with the wifey. :wink:

Well let's see.......after the initial sh!tting of the brick that i've actually got one,
1. tire's replaced on 2nd day with taller/wider series
2. windows get 15% titanium tint also on 2nd day
3. rebadge and add some w/custom made one's also on 2 nd day
4. get my brother to escort me thru town w/ lights and siren's whaling, all at a nice 15 mph pace, so as not to leave any spectator with a closed mouth at least every day for a week. :grin: Mike

I will get the darkest tint possible for my state, remove the spoiler, and get a photoshoot with my friend who is a professional photographer. If I'm lucky, I'll get the wifey to pose with it.

Believe it not, I told Tracy she would need to pose with the car twice.
Once in her cool bikini, once in her birthday suit. Course the latter is for me only! hehe

I can!! I can't stand a lot of wheel well showing and the SRT has a lot, so not knowing allowable space due to the fact the suspension is different from the RT, I will stuff as much rubber under the wells as possible. Hopefully a 285 or 295/40. Nitto's are my favorites. Mike
