Mine was a 1972 Ford Grand Torino Sport with a 429 cobra jet. It was dark metalic green with a dark green vinyl roof. It was in perfect condition automatic and would pass everything but a gas station. Of course premium was only 50 cents a gallon, so who cared. Since then I have had eleven muscle/show cars and the SRT8 is next in line. Regards to ALL!! Mike

Seeing that I`m only 34, my first "real" car was a 1981 Plymouth Turismo 2.2!

My 2nd car (at 19) was a 1978 Corvette!

My first car was a 1983 Buick Park Avenue. That thing was a beast, and it was slow as molasses, but I loved it! :)

One I do miss, was my 3rd car. A 1991 Plymouth Sundance 2.5 turbo! It was a California custom LOADED with power seats and a full size spare!

That car was QUICK!

i'm 22 years old... my first car was a 1992 Buick Park Avenue, that car was a boat. After hitting a dip in the road that thing wouldn't stop floating for a good 1/4 mile. My dad took it when I went away to college. Then after a year or so and letting my parents continually know that I was pissed that they took away my car, (i work in the family business for free, so i'm entitled to certain things as payment) I come home one winter break and see an extra car covered in snow in the driveway, YIPPEE no wait... another Buick. However this time its a LeSabre and has no and i mean no options, the damn thing doesn't even have a rear defroster, and i live in the chicagoland area WTF!!! I'm now saving up to buy a Charger R/T when i get outta college in a year.

I'm 32 and my first car was a 1977 Ford Granada. It was a Ghia-model 2-door coupe, with the mighty 122 HP 302 California. Motor Trend ran one 0-60 in 14.2. Quarter mile was 18 plus.

Let see. The very first car that was "mine" was a '61 Cad Coupe D'Ville that my parents gave me. At the time I couldn't figure out how I was going to "soup-up" a caddy so I gave it back to them and they helped me buy a clunker '65 Chevy Impala. I never did get that one souped-up either! (OK, everyone slap me upside the head. That caddy was in great shape and it would be a big classic today!!)

But my first "real" car was my '69 Charger SE. Bought and paid for with my own money from my first job out of high school. (Hmmm wait, I still work for the same company! I still have my first job!!). Anyways, this picture although not my car, it does look very similar to what mine did in its heyday:

Oh and since everyone is spilling the beans on how old they are, I'm 48.

LOL!! Not at you Godaddy, but with you. Great stories guys. The "boats" we all drove have a special place in our driving career's. My boat would have to be my 95 Impala SS. BB. I loved that car. Great car's guy's, keep 'em coming! Mike

1978 Olds Cutlass Supreme 2dr 260cu V8 3spd auto, one wheel wonder. It had 60,000 miles on it when I bought it and only had 77,800 when I sold it (bought 12/99, sold 5/05)

That's awesome ... mine was also a 1978 Olds Cutlass Supreme 260 V8, but I had a 5-speed manual and bucket seats ... it was acutally pretty cool IMO. I got it in 1987 with 90,000 miles on it and had it only until 1992.
