I wasn't quite sure where to ask this, but... I'm taking delivery of a 'new-to-me' white 2012 Charger R/T toward the end of this week and by looking at the pictures and specs of the vehicle, it's a damn-near fully loaded R/T - I was just curious if there was a way to tell if it was a Road & Track or if it's just a loaded R/T possibly by the VIN? I did a VIN report on it and it listed it as a "R/T/R/T Max/R/T Plus/R/T Road and Track 4DR Sedan RWD"... lol Not very helpful.

Thanks!

Based off of the wheels, it looks like you might have a 'Wheels and Tunes' package on it. Does it have the Beats audio in it? If so, it's probably just a good 'ol R/T RWD like mine

I believe the Road and Track came with the blacked out grill. Not 100% sure. If its fully loaded with everything and all the tech goodies its probably a Max.

Also the Max in 2011 did not come with the sports mode for the tranny like the road and track or black top. It just has the auto stick. If the 2012 is the same that might give you some indication.

The Max also has the 2.65 rear diff, gear not the 3.06 like the road and track.

You can't necessarily go by the wheels!

Those wheels are offered on most of the R/T's!

How did you run this "VIN report"? ? You can get a detailed build sheet specifying all packages, groups, options, etc. from the Dodge Owner's website.

Looks like the heated/cooled cup holders are the only thing specific to the R/T Max!
I actually use them. They work pretty well. No longer available in the 2015s.

Thanks for the replies! I'll try to answer each of them:

RScottyL: This one does have the adaptive cruise control feature with that sensor up front.

TheDarkKnight: Unfortunately, that's one of the features that it doesn't have is the Beats Audio setup and I'm not sure on the heated/cooled cupholders but I know the full leather seats are heated and cooled.

drsvelte: I used some generic VINCheckPro website which I thought was going to give me much more information than it actually did. I'll head over to the Dodge website and see what I can find out - Thanks!
