I'm getting some new 20's soon that will be 8.5" wide. My charger is a stock SXT. Which size tires will work and look best all around, 255/45/20 or 255/40/20?

Thanks.

Yup, 255/45

I hear 275/40 is doable, but may require spacers.

245/45R20 is mathematically an exact match height-wise for OEM 225/60R18

Plenty of people run 255/45R20 all-around with no problems (approx 0.3" taller tire overall)

275/40R20 is a size that works in the back easily, some people run it in the front too but I don't know if they're using spacers or not ... this size is the same overall height as 245/45R20 making for a perfect staggered set-up ... 245/45R20 front, 275/40R20 rear

Thanks all. I think I will go with 255/45/20. That was my initial "gut feeling" size to go with, but I just didn't want to have too much rubber around the rims. I think it should look fine.
