What is a good tire size for my factory 17 inch rims?? Im looking to buy a set of new year/round tires for my 17 inch rims and I have no idea what the factory tire size is. Ive changed the tires so many times and now it has the low profile type tires on it and I hate it. I think there is too much space/room in the fender wells for tires like that, What tires could i put to fill in most of that space that will be as close to the factory size as possible but not as slim of a width??

215/65/17 is the factory tire size

I'd run 235/60R17's....about the same overall height as the stock 215/65's, but will be 3/4" wider, and will fit on the stock 17x7's.

if you're in an area that gets a good amount of winter weather, but don't want to swap out summer and winter tires, check out the Nokian WRG3's
