I'm looking at the Production News here... and it says Inferno Crystal Red Pearl has a job #1 of 5/1/06 (LXCX48)... That mean I cannot order a Charger with the Red??? I don't get it.. Or is the LXCX the 300 Model?

Yeah, but we all know they are making Chargers with the Inferno red.. That's what confuses me.. Is that for the 300 or all LX models?

The Charger R/T is body code LXDP48. The LXCX48 (I think) is the Chrysler 300C SRT-8, but I am not 100% sure. The Charger should not be affected by this.

Maybe "Inferno Red" is different from "Inferno Crystal Red Pearl." Weren't they working with a clearcoat that was tinted red to enhance the base coat on the SRT prototype?

The red is going to be an option on the 300SRT-8 in the spring, The heritage edition is a special 300C with butane blue exterior and a cream colored leather interior...( rumors sugest blue piping on the seats dub style)
