lol. Try driving 6K mile long road trips in a Pursuit! It's so much more comfortable to me being in my bare bones Super Bee than the leather heated seats, with LED ambient lighting, huge iPad touch screen and dash, and all if the other fancy stuff of the Benz. I'll hit 167k miles here shortly, hope to get that many more out of it.
I don’t have your power and rumble.Maybe it's the 1 beer I had 3 hours ago talking here, but after a day of driving here there and everywhere in my wife's MB doing errands and taking my 7yo to her sports, we had to stop and pick up my Charger from the garage on the way home.
It had that greasy, motor oil, gasoline smell from being in a shop all day, it's loud, it rumbles and rattles, and the ride isn't the smoothest, but giving it a little gas and feeling that power! 😉 You quickly forget how much torque the 392 has after driving around a turbo-4 all day. My wife's MB is a very nice car, but for me it's too much. The entire dash is one like 2 foot long iPad, from the gouges, to the HVAC, radio. It even has an up to date maintenance schedule, gives you fluid levels and when they need to be changed. I like how the front seats extended the seat part out further. The whole car glows inside to whatever color you set it to. The AWD is nice and it's a smooth ride, it's quick and quiet. I don't like the auto-brake thing, but I guess it's a safety feature. It's good for family hauling, but if I had to pick, I'd take the Charger. Much, much simpler.I don’t have your power and rumble.
But I know what you mean. I always love getting back into my Charger after driving her car. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very nice car and fun to drive. But if I have to pick, the Benz is gone.
If I had to bet, the Super Bee and Pursuit are probably on the same level interior wise with the lack of extra features. Just how I like it. No nonsense!lol. Try driving 6K mile long road trips in a Pursuit!

On that topic, I THINK that I know the answer, but I want to check with the pros.Installed Mopar 203* T-stat, and Coolant Res Bottle today. During the dragon run the 203 T-stat that was stamped as a 190 T-stat failed and would not even crack open til 221*. And my bottle cracked while sitting during this.
So mopar parts went in. The mopar Tank was way heavier with metal Cap lip vs the SKP lighter, and plastic.
T-stat def higher quailty as it sits around 203-207 highway where as others were weak and ran cooler in the 190s. Gotta get use to the new temps now.
None whatsoever. On that topic, I THINK that I know the answer, but I want to check with the pros.
There is no practical need for me to change from the standard OEM (195-210, I believe), correct?
Even with heavy driving in the desert would not have any benefit. Correct?

Would seem more of a airflow / fan issue than waterpump no?None whatsoever.
And on the coolant topic, I think the beast has eaten its own water pump. Been noticing higher temps in traffic lately but it's cooling back down to "normal" on the highway.
Mopar units are 2-3 times the price of Gates and others. Makes no sense.
I'll also probably drop a 160 tstat in it just because I like it cooler.
I've already got the big radiator on it. With the A/C on it'll go 220-225 before the light turns green and I get rolling. If I turn the a/c off, it'll get to 205-210 and all 3 fans are going full boogie. It hadn't done that until this summer so I figure the pump is heading out since hot traffic is the only time it goes up.Would seem more of a airflow / fan issue than waterpump no?
