It depends on the mods you have done. If it is mostly stock then the 600 would do fine. Aluminum heads, cam & intake with higher compression maybe the 650. I would probably go with the 650 with manual secondaries aka the double pumper. It would work great and still give you room to grow if you get the mod bug later on.:bigthumb:

I have the Holey 670 with electric choke on my 72 with 318. Have had no problems tuning it in. The only mods I have done to the car are a MSD ignition system, Hooker Headers to 2 1/2" system with flowmaster 40 series and weiand action plus intake manifold.

Just depends on what mods you've done, All three are good CFM carbs and then the tuning of it to your mods.

I would go with the 600 CFM with a vacuum secondary. 4150 or 4160 series Holley.

Pull the check ball out of the secondaries so the secondaries open faster no lag.

x2......The holley street avangers are nice carbs and very easy to get right.
