6th Annual Meet 'n Eat
When: Sunday June 28th, 2015 11AM till 3:30PM
Where: Blendon Woods Metro Park 4265 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Westerville, OH 43081
FYI: THIS EVENT is rain or shine as we have already rented the shelter. Also of note we are now in a different shelter due to how they reserve the shelters. We are now in the Sycamore shelter.
If there is ONE event you should attend this is the one!
We typically have 25-35 cars show up for this event. We have reserved the shelter for the first part of the day so you may arrive anytime after 11:00 AM and we will try and eat at Noon and have to be out by 3:30PM. This shelter has electricity and restrooms as well as swings and a large playfield. We'll be supplying hot dogs, brats, buns, condiments, paper plates and plasticware and ask that the rest bring a dish to share (if you'd like) as well as what you'd like to drink. As an FYI, no alcohol is permitted in the park. If you cannot or don't want to come for the food, come anytime you want and just hang out. Bring your camera and lawn chairs as well if you'd like. There are picnic tables however. Also, the Park Rangers are very particular about going the posted speed limit in the park, so please, follow the posted speed limits so we are welcomed to come back next year. We will have a donation box in the shelter to help cover the costs of this event and a good assortment of prizes to give away.
Also, we are going to try and have 'like' cars park together so we can take group pictures of the same models parked in a line. So, when you show up try and park near other cars like yours if possible.
We will be collecting new, medium to small toys for a toy drive around Christmas. If you would like to participate, simply bring new, unwrapped, kids toys to the shelter and we will collect them all and save them till the end of the year. Then, our car club will have get together and do a group caravan and drop off the toys sometime in December.

From I-270, take State Route 161 exit (30B) toward New Albany onto E. Dublin-Granville Road. Go 1.6 miles then take the Little Turtle Way exit and turn right. Go to Old State Route 161 and turn right. Entrance is 1/2 mile on left. Once you enter the park you will eventually come upon a fork in the road, take the left and look for Sycamore Shelter.
