Hey, I received a letter from dodge about my warranty expiring on 3/23/15. It says on the note that I need to call by Christmas eve to renew. Do I need to by then? Or do I have up until it expires? I was hoping to use my income tax money for it. Also I heard buying online is cheaper than the dealer. Is this true? Thanks

You have 4 years or 48,000 miles to still be eligible for the MAX Care warranty. As long as you are between those, you can get whatever Chrysler warranty you want. We are going to get the Lifetime Warranty for my wife's Avenger and my 2011 Grand Caravan R/T. Just simply a sales tactic!

Make sure it's really from Chrysler. I'd suggest not calling the number they give. Visit your dealer to be safe.

How much does the Max Care warranty normally cost & what does it cover? Is it cheaper if I buy it early on?
I got something a while ago about adding a warranty and think it said it could even be broken down into payments.

I just bought my Charger back in Sept but think I may add a warranty at some point. The letter I got said 12 months or 12,000 for $150 off or something like that

Thanks

If you do the monthly payments, do not miss payment, not even by a day. They will cancel the warranty and you'll have to start over again

Thanks

I'm trying to read over this but doesn't the '14 come with 3y 36000 mile, 100,000 powertrain warranty?

So basically you would be adding 2-4 extra years and about 30K-70K additional miles to the warranty that comes with the car since the Max is retro to day one. Is that correct for the Max?

Does the added care plus option start after the 3y,36K warranty, thats what it sounds like with "Added Care Plus provides an economical way to extend coverage beyond your vehicle's original warranty."

I think I may give them call some time next year to get a better understanding and see what I want to go with. At the minimum I think I want it under warranty while I'm still paying on it. Maybe a yr or 2 after it's paid.

I'll have to really put my mind to it after the holidays.
Hope everyone here has happy and safe holidays

If you are with this car for the long haul, do what I did. Max Care lifetime. It's not transferable like the other warranties, but like I said, if your in it for the long haul it's a nice peace of mind.

I just got a warranty letter myself. It was nicely telling me that my warranty would end soon and I should sign up for an extended warranty. Kind of funny when you consider that I have the lifetime Maxcare. Stupid third party scams.
