Gotta a question perhaps someone can point me to the right direction? I took my Charger over to get the wheels (20") rebalanced after i put them back on after the winter hibernation.. The Service Advisor takes my car out for a test drive make sure work is satisfactory (I loved watching my car leave and return as i was not the driver!! lol) so umm all seriousness.. he says that the car is stable (balanced) but there is a shimmy when you go to apply the brakes.. He stated that balancing is when the car accelerates and when the car slows down that its something with one of the rotors.. Well i have driven my car for a few.. and notice that when i go to apply the brakes the steering wheel does shimmy (dependin on speed and surface its more or less).. Is this a sign of a warped front rotor?

Tire shops have been known to over torque wheel nuts and not do them in proper order, which can also warp rotors.

iv got the same shake. iv been told its a warped rotor. it shakes more if im breaking from a high speed.
