Compared to my 2010 Challenger R/T, which has always seemed slow to me, my new SRT has a VERY twitchy gas pedal. Enough so that I have to really concentrate on taking off smoothly without chirping the tires. Compound that with the fact that my DD company car is a 4-cylinder Accord, and I'm a real jackrabbit with the SRT. Is it an SRT thing, 8-speed tranny thing, or do I need an adjustment to the throttle response to make it less twitchy?

Braking and accelerating in my 2015 is definitely a LOT more sensitive than my 2010.

Takes some real finesse to get a perfectly smooth start/stop.

Humm...tough one to figure out.
I suggest you both drop your 2015s off at my place for about a month each, I'll see what I can do to determine the cause. >

some '15 owner "Hey does this exhaust note rock as much as I think it rocks?"
some other '15 owner "Yeah compared to my '10 even with Flomaster exhaust mod, this thing rumbles"

When I first got an SRT I had a hard time not doing an accidental half-assed burnout every time I left a red light. I feel your pain:alfdance::biggrinjester:

I don't find the throttle difficult to manage. I am used to faster cars.

I fine brake and throttle very linear.
