Unleashed

The Hip-Hop song used in the 3 different Dodge Charger commercials called "UNLEASHED" by Artist Chris Classic is hitting the airwaves as a full-length video.

This song/video and album will be come a huge hit and make Mr. Classic an even bigger star and a household name. The videos of the Charger with the song Unleashed was so popular that Dodge received well over 20,000 letter/e-mails and phones calls asking about the song. So they have decided to make a video.

Dodge, JSM Music and Advertising giant BBMO have teamed up to produce and release "Unleashed" as a full length video and also a complete album from Chris Classic. The video will be release in September and the album will be out in October.

Icetman, this smells of a press release. I'm not complaining, not at all, we love to get the news fast. May I ask who you are? NO requirement to answer, of course, I'm just a curious George:)

NP would love to answer you.

My name is Todd and I am a retired Army Veteran who now works in the music business as a PM for an up and coming artist. So I guess it is second nature for me to write this way. :) When I first saw the TV commercials thought the song just ROCKED so I decided to do some research to find the artist’s and song name. After a few hours I found the artist and contacted him about the song. About 4 days went by and Mr. classic contacted me and since then I have been in contact with him. Today I received an e-mail getting the news him directly via e-mail that the song will be released as a video in September. The e-mail Mr. Classic sent to me was from the New York Times and Billboard magazine. Although I did type the message myself I did use some of the press release in my posting.

I don't think I saw it noted - But, does anyone know if there will be any Chargers in the video. If so, it would be nice if the exterior were pretty much stock, or were like some of the cars that I saw posted on this site (maybe the "Debadged" style) - but that is my opinion.

- Just to note, I like the "Live and Loose" tune (I believe that is the correct name). I actually saw that on one of the forums (Allpar.com) that Chris Classic (the artist) was posting repsonses to some of the negative threads that people were posting about his music (or maybe it was more like they "clumped" all rap style music into one negative category).
- Anyhow, I was very impressed with his repsonses - he made great points and presented himself well - better than I could, with dealing with the "hard heads" that he was dealing with. So, I checked out all that I could about him, and he seems like a great guy - with a good work ethic.

Maybe we can get him an account and logged in on this site.

Thanks, Todd, I understand the occupational jargon thing, I still give information in military format myself:) Retired Navy Aircrew/Ordie here:) I can say that I love the music, it matches so well with the car. As a matter of fact, I know I and others here have ben trying to find a way to get a downloadable copy of the amusement park vid.

I would love to have that on my PSP. Regardless, do give Chris my thanks for a great song.

Actually, from what I've heard, it's not sampled. Word is that Nazareth actually rerecorded for the Unleashed track. If you listen to it (available from MusicMatch), you can tell that it's an older voice.

I have it on video that I taped in 2006. I suppose I could get it on a DVD and send it to you. It is gone now from the internet.
