2018 Dodge Charger Scat Pack - Alpine Audio stock/basic audio - Uconnect 8.4 w/ Nav
Here's the issue -
Have had this problem since I have purchased the vehicle back in March 18'. I have already taken it back to the dealer twice due to this issue. They have since replaced the Uconnect for it having a blue screen of death (this is not a joke) which I have on camera, but not for the bluetooth playback issue. The bluetooth will intermittently become choppy/skip a bit during playback/crackle during any and every song every 30 seconds or so, give or take. This is not something that is/can be caused or can be recreated - just happens over time during playback of any given song. I originally was using an LG V20 for the first few months of ownership of the car - now have moved on to a Galaxy Note 9 = did not make a difference in terms of curing the problem (yes, I have tried several phones on my Uconnect and it recreates the same issue which leads me to believe this is something bigger than the phone or even radio itself.) Problem is the dealer has already helped once and over time was found that it did not cure the problem so returning with the same issue is a challenge (plus I want to see if there is a remedy.) I was really hoping to see if there is any single person out there that has had this problem with their Uconnect and has a fix because the dealer was at a loss for words from start to finish of my service visits. My Uconnect has no updates available nor does my phone to solve the issue. This is the single most annoying thing to me as I spend a large amount of time per day with my travel to and from work and go figure - I mainly listen to my bluetooth. I stream through Spotify as well - the music is downloaded directly to my device so this cannot be from a connection issue, nor probable with every single song for that matter. Bluetooth calls over the radio is flawless and every other feature and performance of the Uconnect system is seamless as well. It is boggling to deal with this on a daily basis and try to figure it out and only have no-one understand the issue as it isn't common apparently. I've cleared the bluetooth cache as well as reset the radio both at the dealer and at home. I cannot figure this out. My last and only thing left to check in with would be the bluetooth module under the driver side dash, located above the pedals.. - PLEASE HELP!
