Type of transmission fluid

Isn't BnD $29 a quart as part of his filter special?

If you read through the 5 pages of the post ddaddy referenced you will find BND has a special with fluid for 29.21 a quart. Give Brian a call and he will help you out. Adding fluid isn't like it used to be. I'd you noticed, there is no fill tube in the engine compartment. You have to put the car on a lift and fill the transmission from under the car.

The 8 speed is high tech, so I guess it requires something special. Although sometimes I wonder if it is the technology or the exclusivity. I remember when the cars changed from old distributors with "points" to electronic ignition. Tune-up prices doubled but in reality required fewer parts and less labor.
But I love my 8 speed. I might have a heart attack if it fails but in the meantime it is impressive.
