Trying to figure out what gears will be best in the long run. No it wont be 100% 1/4 mile vehicle. I build everything to be good overall. Meaning the vehicle is still full weight with a system in the back. I'm in the process of doing a 4.0l stroker build on my 2008 Supercharged Chrysler 300 with 3.5l and NAG1 swap already. BEFORE this engine rebuild I was sitting at 345RWHP, running a 14.15 @ 102MPH, 7.9PSI, 0-60 is 5.9s all with a canned tune. Also found out I was loosing the rest of my 10PSI out the back of the EGR upper intake port. Basically about to make my own stroker with this factory short block. The compression of the 3.5L is 9.9:1 to where the 4.0L is 10.1:1. I can't wait to see the results. Hoping for some where around 450RWHP. If achieved it should be around a 12 sec V6.... Going off the numbers anyways. Mods Im working with are as follows:

PREFORMANCE

o JBA Shorty Headers
o Custom Mandrel Bent True Dual Exhaust
o Straight Piped Convertors
o SRT 4 Injectors (577)

OK so my vehicle came with transmission 42RLE VLP with 3.64 gears. I swapped the 3.64 gears out to 3.90's while still having the 42RLE installed. I then did the 42RLE VLP to W5A580 (Nag1) swap but kept the 3.90 gears. SO I have 3.64's and 3.90s both open differentials. Im running 315/35R20's in the rears

14.15s @ 102mph was with the MTCM Installed so shift points were 6200. I've since installed a Transfomer Gen1 to change shift points to 6500. Now goin off of.... the following being my "control".

Gears: 3.90
Shift Point: 6200rpm
Shift Into 4th Gear @ 96.02 mph

With the coming extra power I doubt ill get about 110 mph so raising the shift points to 6500 is going to have me shifting right before I trap. Im trying to figure out what rear would be a good choice.

Gears: 3.90 (Stock 2.7L 42RLE rear) -- uses 198mm axles
Shift Point: 6500rpm
Shift Into 4th Gear @ 100.86 mph

Gears: 3.64 (Stock 3.5L 42RLE rear) -- uses 198mm axles
Shift Point: 6500rpm
Shift Into 4th Gear @ 108.06 mph

Gears: 2.87 (Stock 3.5L W5a580 rear) -- uses 198mm axles
Shift Point: 6500rpm
Shift Into 4th Gear @ 137.06 mph

Gears: 2.82 (Stock 5.7L NAG1 rear)
Shift Point: 6500rpm
Shift Into 4th Gear @ 139.49 mph

Gears: 3.73 (GetRad)
Shift Point: 6500rpm
Shift Into 4th Gear @ 105.46 mph

Gears: 3.92 (GetRad)
Shift Point: 6500rpm
Shift Into 4th Gear @ 100.34 mph

Gears: 3.55 (Richmond)
Shift Point: 6500rpm
Shift Into 4th Gear @ 110.8 mph

What I think I should go with.

Gears: 3.07 (AWD 5.7L) -- uses 198mm axles
Shift Point: 6500rpm
Shift Into 4th Gear @ 128.13 mph

or

Gears: 3.06 (GetRad)
Shift Point: 6500rpm
Shift Into 4th Gear @ 128.55 mph

What is your guys thoughts?? Am I overthinking it?
