Off to the local drag strip this weekend, never been before. I have a clue, thinking lower rear tire pressure a bit, increase front a bit, try and keep car cool. Have been practicing starts, you know, brake standing then release with as little spin as possible. But I'm not really sure what are the key elements for a successful track experience - and of course, the best times!

Any quick tips for an old newbie? My best "on-the-street" 0-60 so far is 5.55, 1/4 mile around 14 @98MPH
