[Part Deux]

My brake lamp switch has been...difficult, mostly due to my efforts. Literally took it apart and put it back together, not convinced it's correctly assembled, may be 180° out of position.

Then the cruise control stopped working, and won't set.

Brake lights are working correctly

Now I'm throwing the code listed above, which is essentially a speed sensor.

Also painted the calipers and rotors. Painted the rotor hubs in areas not in contact with the wheels, or obviously braking surface.

Is there a sensor pickup on the calipers I shouldn't have painted?
Is there a sensor trigger on the rotor I shouldn't have painted?
Any suggestions on the brake lamp switch?

Any other ideas?

I went back and looked at the code description again, and it has to be the switch
P0572-BRAKE SWITCH 1 STUCK ON

Don't understand why the brake lights are functioning properly
