Those any body know a good "tuner" in the los angeles c.a area?

You could always go with an email tune vs a dyno tune and save some money if you do not have many mods like cam, headers ect. For the basic mods like CAI and catback I have found that an email tune is about as good. You may pick up a few more HP with the dyno tune but not enough to notice IMO without serious mods on the Hemi. Diablotoona, Hemifever and Hemituner are good tuners that can do an email tune.

How do you get in contact with one of these guys? I'm thinking about getting one now that I have my catback. Do i need to join another forum where they are at
This is just my opinion: If you want a safe but email tune that will get the most hp out of the Hemi then Hemifever is the man.

If you want to gain hp over the Diablo but remain on the conservative side and extremely safe the get one from Diablotoona. [email protected]
I would have to find the address for Hemituner. Name is AJ Berg All three are great tuners and provide tunes for members on all the different forums. Hemifever has his rates on his website. Johan (Diablotoona) who works for Diablo takes donations and has not set price for an email tune.

Thanks for the thorough answer bro! That is really cool of Johan. I have heard some good stuff about him I didn't know he worked for diablo though. What do you mean by safe though? I haven't heard about the dangers of getting one of these tunes so that worries me. I know you can screw up your car by tuning it yourself and not knowing what you're doing, but these guys obviously know what they are doing. Is there a danger that they push the engine too hard trying to get hp or something like that?
All three I mentioned and there are others like Josh at HHP, give you a safe tune that will have your AFR between 12.0 and 12.8 during WOT. There are some shops that will claim to be able to tune the Hemi but they do not have the access to the many parameters that need to be looked at when providing a safe tune. The tuners I mentioned will tell you what to data log and after you data log and record the PID's that they ask for, you will go back and forth until you are satisfied that the car runs great. When I first got the Charger I had both Hemifever and Johan for tunes. I was data logging every other day. I got a tune from Hemifever after 3 data logs and a tune from Johan after 2 data logs. The difference between the two tunes was only around 5-6 hp according to my dyno results. (I was looking at getting the max hp at the time. LOL)
