2013 dodge charger purchased 3 weeks ago In my rear tail-light in the bottom left corner of the oval tail-light it appears that 2 or 3 of the consecutive bulbs went out...how do I fix or replace these?? Does the whole taillight have to be replaced?

Does the whole thing "need" replaced? Probably not... but I highly doubt you can fix it yourself. You'd have to source the LED or a comparable one used, and hope that soldering on a new one would be all that needs done. And you'd have to disassemble the taillight to get it done. But two or three out in the same spot is probably an issue with something other than the LEDs since failure is very rare. Multiples failing in the same spot is practically impossible unless something else is wrong, which I have seen before. Not idea what the issue was though as it was another Charger on the road.

Hopefully you still have warranty. Best to have them replace that whole section.

I had a moon roof installed a week ago, and I know for sure the tail light issue wasn't there before I dropped it off at the shop, do you think that could have caused an issue with the wiring for the tail light?

If you have a taillight with a few LED's inop. then it is not a wiring issue. You need a new taillight.

Has anyone broke one open yet?
If more than 1 led is out then it's the board or resistors, should be a relatively easy fix. Hardest part would be opening and resealing the lens.
But yeah, should be under warranty.

Edit: there is no flex, hard to imagine how this would happen. Poor QC from supplier?

Could be, I don't see why just a couple would burn out and not the rest, I can't even find any sites that have the tail light itself for sale either...
Yeah, that's the center taillight, $400 new.

Yes I've broken one open after replacing damn thing twice, these are on sealed, or printed circuit boards, I don't see how anyone would be able to replace subfloor leds, and its corrosion that shorts them out at the ends.

So you do have to replace the entire tail light to the tune of around $700 for the part from Dodge. I replaced mine on November 2nd, and today is January 6 and the brand new one has 7 lights out. Hoing to change it out on warranty

Yes replace whole section as it's a solid led board and can't just replace individual leds, I've broken one open before, they're sealed printed boards the bottom corners burn out because they're a separate board of 3leds with little half inch pieces of wire connecting them to the 2 center section boards. Moisture gets in housing and curodes the solder points (blueish crust)

Lol I don't think there's a tutorial. Just have to be experienced in fabrication. But if you'd like a custom set I just finished the prototype. Check out my videos

That's one video, my channel has others
I just want to play around myself and I won't be able to drive around with that here in Germany 😂
It will most likely end up as decoration. So just wanted to check where and if to heat some parts.
