I was underneath my car today snooping around and I discovered that the front driver side sway bar end link rubber grease boot is ripped. My car is 1.5 years old with 7,000 miles. Any ideas how that could happen so soon? I'm sure it will be covered under warranty, but still will be a pain to make time to take it in. I've attached a photo - could someone please verify for me that this is indeed the sway bar end link. I was hoping for a better quality photo, but that's what I get for taking the car off the ramps and putting everything away before loading the photos on the computer to see how they turned out.

definitely sways with end links. the end links are the weakest point for our suspension. if you go back factory, you should be fine, but it's nice to have the peace of mind.
