For me, its not a brand choice its a type and outcome choice.

There are several types of superchargers. Roots, Lysholm twin-screw, Sliding vane Scroll-type.

So usually a "brand" makes one of those types.

They each have an advantage and disadvantage. Heat, cost, installation difficulty, sound level, boost level, and smog legal are the biggest ones.

I would pick function and outcome over "brand".

Low boost and factory appearance Magnuson, big boost positive displacement I like KB and Whipple. Max effort hold the hell on Procharger F1.

I had the Magnuson on for about two years. Really nice street blower and fun at the strip. Of course I want more power, higer trap speeds and lower ets so I now have a procharger f1a on a inertia built 370.

I'd say it depends what you want to do with the car.
Procharger has a spectrum of products from entry level to the monster rob goss uses to run a 7.07 quarter mile at 203mph!

Magnuson has the 2300 and I know folks that run 6 to 14 lbs of boost.

Kenne bell also has a range of options in terms of displacement as well.

Call josh at high horse performance and talk over your options.
