Well he's right about the interior. Even my plasticky 80s GTA has better feel on at least 50% of it's interior surfaces... the other 50% would be on par or in a few cases slightly below the Charger's. Even the crappy outdated interiors in my Marauders looked a *tad* more substantial.
While I'm no fan of the overall SuperBee look (I respect it, but it's just not for me), I can't agree with him about the cheapness of the decals. I assume my Daytona's decals have the same pedigree, and they've stood up to 2 summers and 1 winter with absolutely minimal care and they still look brand new.
As for the environmental crap, while I'm definitely pro-environment (for my own personal reasons), I'd like to think I'm also realistic in acknowledging that today's performance motors are able to achieve Low Emissions Vehicle status fairly easily. I doubt as much effort and money was invested in similar engineering for cheap Kia and Hyundai motors, so if anything I'd be willing to bet that we put out less "per-cubic-inch" emissions with our performance motors than they do. But I have absolutely no proof of this and may be completely wrong, I don't know.
Handling-wise: well, it's no secret that I'm less than impressed with the Charger's underpinnings. So I'd best not comment on that... I guess everything is relative, for many it's probably the best and most comfortable handler, but there are and have been cars with better comfort-to-handling ratios, I can promise you that.
