Here is one for ya, let me know if you have any idea what the problem could be. Went out to the car yesterday to go for a drive, car was dead in the driveway. Used one the little battery powered car jumpers to get her going, then I took her out for a drive to charge the battery (which I thought may have run down for one reason or another). On the drive, I noticed my AC wouldn't work or my cruise control. I took her to the dealership (Windward Dodge) and dropped her off. Still waiting for a diagnosis. Any ideas?

Dealers cant detect the diablo.

Ya let us know what the problem is
yes I hope you remembered to return the diablo back to the stock tune. because if they reflash your car your diablo will become useless.

as for the problem I have no idea. sorry man
dealers cant detect the diablo.

Ya let us know what the problem is
yes they can!!
Like the others said, HOPE ya turned the car back to stock!!!!
Oh yeah, no worries about that. First thing they found was a bad cell in the battery so they are replacing it. They still don't know about the cruise control or AC.
Wouldn't doubt it's the ghost from Hickam AF Base! Be careful man! I have heard some crazy sounds at the HQ Building and down by the hero's walk way thingy.
I was going to say bad battery. As for why the A/C or cruise didn't work was probably because the computer detected a problem so put it into semi-protect mode. A/C draws a lot of amps to run with the e-fan and compressorso if the battery is bad it won't let the A/C run to keep the amps going to the vital systems. Not sure why cruise wouldn't work though. Was your traction control system inop as well?
Update 2: Replacing the battery fixed the AC problem, but the cruise control problem still exists. I wonder if the CC problem has something to do with my new 85mm TB I put on a few months ago. Unfortuletly, here on Oahu, not a whole lot of places to use CC, so if that was the problem, I never noticed until now.

No ghosts though, thank goodness!! :D
Update 3: Dealer said they needed to order some sort of control module for the steering column. I'll get more detail today when I go pick the car up.
So far so good. Keep us informed!
Update 4: Picked the car up from the dealer. He said I needed a control module for the steering column (as I posted before). On the way home however, I tried the cruise control and it worked like a champ. This is the first time I tried the cruise after I took the Predator tune off the car. Would there be any way the Predator was keeping the cruise from setting? This also brings up another interesting question...did the dealer even try to troubleshoot the problem or did they just assume it was broken and took my word for it? I would think that they would try to replicate the problem first.

Glad to hear that you are back to normal.

Was that your bee I saw flying on the H3 with a 20 something year old mechanic driving it? Nah just joking, but I always wonder what the mechanics do when they take cars out for a "road test"...I guess what you don't know won't hurt you.

Glad your back on the road.
Hawaii style man! All I gotta say lol! They prob took your word for it and didn't take her out for a spin.

scary but probraly true.

glad its working good though!!
Got a question, for those of you who know the Predator very well, is there an option or something in the Predator that would keep the cruise from setting? I am going to repost this on the SRT-8 Forums as well.

not that I am aware of. Been using the pred for a while now and no issues with the cruise control function...
I've never seen anything in the Predator menu regarding cruise control.
