Why? the V6 has the WORST stock exhaust system on the planet and it BEGS to be upgraded>

Leave the resonators on or the thing will drone you to death... take it to a muffler shop and try having them put in some pipes like highlighted red in this pic:

Exhaust tips don't change the sound. They just finish it off and make it look nice.

If I had a V6, I would look for a used R/T dual exhaust. Often you can find them for $100 on Craigslist or the for sale forum here.

I would agree with the used r/t exhaust, the sound of a V6 just doesn't do much for me.
