Ok guys, based on the title of this thread, are both the headers from the Daytona and that from the R/T identical? Is there a performance difference with the stock Daytona header versus that of the R/T?

Any input on this is greatly appreciated.

Even if they are different, it isn't different enough to make any difference.

They're exactly the same, and an exhaust manifold, not a header. The difference that gives the Daytona, and Road & Track the 10 extra hp, is the the intake is a little bigger, and the exhaust is supposedly a little freer flowing.

Yeah, the air intake on the Daytona and R/T R&T is the same as that on the SRT8, bigger opening in the bottom of the airbox, and bigger diameter tube to the throttle body.

I put an exhaust from a Sublime Daytona on my non R&T R/T and it is diffently louder than the stock R/T exhaust.

The R/T stock has three baffles(if thats what you want to call them) The Daytona and R/T,R/T is almost straight thru.Almost true duals.the exhaust manifolds are the same. And the airbox on the r/t model pulls only 4800cfm, wereas the daytona pulls 5300cfm.
