We are doing a build on Steve's Challenger R/T, and installing the following parts:
  • Vortech Supercharger
  • Baer 6-piston Pro+ Kit (front, rear)
  • Hotchkis Sway bars (front, rear)
  • Auto Meter Boost & Fuel Pressure Gauges (plus pod)

Here are some pics of the car, and the parts going on it.

I'll update with progress pics as well.

Recently Steve brought his ride back to us for some further enhancements!

To go along with the mods we installed last fall we added KW Coilovers to lower the car and provide better handling, a Paramount Stage 2 Valve Body for firmer shifts, and a Maxflow Race Bypass to help the blower let off steam a little better

This is truly an "SRT Killer" Package!
Vortech S/C
Stage 2 Valve Body
Hotchkis Sways
KW Coilovers
Baer 6 Piston Brakes

I love my SRT, but I disagree a bit.

This car will outbrake (6 piston vs 4 Piston brakes), outhandle ( bigger stiffer sways and adjustable coilovers), and outrun (firmer shifting transmission, and over 100 RWHP added from the Vortech) an SRT as it is setup, so the $$ spent didn't merely take it to SRT performance level, he far exceeds it.

It is putting down about 100 more RWHP than an SRT8 and has stronger brakes and suspension.

Hypothetically you could buy a Base R/T and add this package and still come in at or under an SRT8 MSRP with more power and better handling. Granted its't an SRT, but it is one heck of a performer, and a sleeper as well, and for some folks that is what they want!
