That's the one thing I didn't do myself. I could drill holes in that plastic front end for the air dam, but I couldn't bear to punch holes in the trunk lid. Just too afraid I'd screw it up. I let the dealership do it. All I can tell you is that it looks like a four bolt job:
If you've got a good template and a steady hand, it should to be a breeze.
They took quite a while doing mine (over 2 hours). The service manager said his guy was being extra careful not to screw it up. I think that was code for "we're charging you double what we should because you won't go away and leave us alone."
Hi Guys new to this site but i love all the info, also new to the car scene really,Im about to purchase a charger Rt with Rt package and wanted to add the spoiler, would it be better to have the dealership provide and install it or should i purchase my self and have them put it on.If anyone has a rough est of cost i would appreciate it.
$250 for me painted and installed. I just picked the car up ten minutes ago. Looks good but I'm not used ot seeing that spoiler back there. It may take me a few days to fall in love with the R/T's "new ass".
Hey GoDaddy, aren't you hunkered down somewhere out of the storm? Your wife must be wondering what you are up to. Tell her your tracking the hurricane on line
My wife knows way to much about this site. When I told her one of the members was evac-ing she said, "Oh, I hope GoDaddy is ok".
i was also told when I came home with the spoiler on the car that I should help feed the kids and not go on line with my "internet friends."
She loves the spoiler though. Says it makes the car look finished when you look at it with the front grill in black as well. The hood struts are on, CAI in and the auto lights are functional.
well i am going to add a boat feature to my car....seeing how that is the only way we may be able to get home anytime soon....lol
we are just outside of nashville, tn.....beautiful city/town called ****son....may move here b/c we may not have a home.....funny huh? sense of humor is still intact. when you can get some pics up....dying to see what she looks like. have you done the engine cover??????????? sounds like another mod for you to work on.....i really need to get pics up of the engine bay when this is over...it looks great with the painted cover....the cai and then i also painted those two plastic pieces under the oem hood "strut/holder doohikie"....i had a guy over here that wanted to see the hemi (funny huh? all of this going on and this guy has got to check out the car.....of course i eat the attention to my baby up....hehe) he thought the engine looked awesome, soooooooo??????????? you need to get to work......lol

scott aka godaddy
ps.....i am never going to get my custom plates (GODADDY)....first katrina now this....damn it!!!
I'm sure you are already working on the boat mode. I believe if you hold down the ESP button for 11 seconds the rudders deploy.
You are the official site engine cover painter. I don't think I have the patience for that anymore.
Amazing, just a little mod like putting on the hood struts and I like the car even more. Never thought it would matter - same with the auto lights.
I'm still getting used to the spoiler.
Got to decide if I'm going to go for warranty busting mods next. Usually, I'm sorry that I did when it comes to driveability. I'm in traffic a lot.
Why didn't we just buy STR8's? By the time I'm done I'll probably have that minus the engine.
Stay safe. I may use that company that was listed on the site to do the engine cover. What do you think of this combo -black as the main color and accents with the metalic flake color that is within the black paint on my car.
(hey, nobody steal that yet)
